Although the games vary in quality, each one brings something new to the table that makes it worth playing in one way or another. Mario Kart is arguably Nintendo’s most popular spin-off series (aside from Super Smash Bros.) and for damn good reason. Except Deluxe, since it’s relatively new, but close enough I suppose. Little did I know at that point that I would go out of my way to purchase and 100% every subsequent game in the series. The courses are still vivid in my mind, we always picked the same characters, and we always had a blast. The hours I spent at my friend’s place playing Mario Kart 64 with my friend, his brother, and my brother…Of course, there were other games we played at his place, like Super Smash Bros., Super Mario 64, and even The World is Not Enough (we weren’t lucky enough to have Goldeneye, unfortunately), but the hours we spent in Mario Kart 64 were unrivaled by any of the other games he had. I recall the first game in the series I ever played. Unimportant! For now, let’s talk about my history with Mario Kart. A video game list! Bet you didn’t think you’d see another one of these from me again, did you?
